Focus of sessions:

Our heart in these thirty-three power packed sessions is to equip the participants by giving them tools to be an effective leader within their sphere of influence. We will be presenting timeless principles from the word of God, and practical ways to apply them to their lives. This element also gives foundational understanding for the various activates we will be a part of throughout the duration of the program.

 

 Session 1: Intro to Transformed 2

 

"Intro to Transformed 2" session is intended for there to be a clear understanding of the purpose, introduction and what is expected of each individual throughout the duration of the program. We will specifically go through the guidelines and regulations, and field questions for further explanation as needed.  Also, the vision and purpose for the program as a whole will be given clearly. Our Vision is “To temper the ignited youth of this city, region, and state by equipping them to become leaders in their sphere of influence for the cause of Christ."

 

Session 2: Individual Assessment and analysis

 

Individual assessment session focuses mostly on the aspects of each individual’s strengths and weaknesses assessment and spiritual gifting analysis. Not only will there be an opportunity for each individual to see the results, but also to gain wisdom and knowledge on how to address these gifts. This session is also designed to gain more foundational knowledge of the individuals participating for more effective growth of each student participating in the program. 

 

 

Session 3: The Baptism of the Christ

 

"The Baptism of the Christ" session is designed to bring a deeper understanding  of the significance of the action of baptism in the traditional sense of full immersion and the spiritual connotation of the decision in what Jesus was calling us to do. We will look at the perspective of a Jew regarding this subject. Also, the session will be covering the Hebrew and Greek roots and discuss the purpose of it for today. In light of the foundation of this subject we will discuss the significance specifically of Jesus' baptism and how it was foundational for what he was about to go through in the wilderness and into his ministry.

 

 

Session 4: The Wilderness

 

"The Wilderness" is a session that will take an approach on the wilderness experience as a preparation for what God had for the one or ones going through the wilderness, namely Jesus and the Israelites. This will bring to light the foreshadowing of what Jesus was going to face in announcing the reestablishment of His kingdom in the hearts of man and to prep him for the adversity he would have to endure. Also, we will also discuss the importance of the wilderness in terms of the Israelites taking their promised land, which will relate in a current application of preparing before facing the giants of the students' "promised land.” This time will also be used to bring to light what they are going to encounter in their "wilderness" experience.

 

 

Session 5: “The Holy Spirit led him into the Wilderness"

 

"The Holy Spirit led him into the Wilderness'" session is designed to jump into the specific aspects of how the Holy Spirit leads us into places of discomfort to make us grow, really in essence to face bigger and hard trials to come. Also, we will focus on how an individual grows in dependence on God through His leading, especially as a leader.

 

Session 6: Fasting and Prayer : Part I Fasting

 

The "Fasting" session is designed to bring understanding of fasting within the context that Jesus gave to us in the gospels. One of the main focuses of this session is to change our minds from a simple fasting to a focus on the feast, that is the feast of God's Word and the fellowship in Jesus Christ, referred to as "breaking bread"(Acts 2:42, 46) during the fast.  We will dive into the motives and the drive behind Fasting and uncover truths about the much-needed picture for the everyday life of a believer.

 

Session 7: Fasting and Prayer : Part II prayer

 

"5 Levels of prayer" approaches prayer in light of the attitude of the one praying. The attitude behind confession, adoration, thanksgiving, petition and intersession in regard to repentance, reverence, gratitude, seeking God's will in my life, seeking God's will in other's lives. We will go through these sessions and briefly cover each and discuss the Biblical foundation of each…

 

Session 8: Sons and Daughters, who live by His Word

 

"Sons and Daughters, who live by His Word" In a very practical way we will uncover truths of not only doing what the word says, but being your true self according to the word. This session is designed to capture the hearts and refresh a love and desire for the satisfaction of the Word to the one partaking.  We will study about what happen to Jesus when he was tempted in the wilderness, and how he combated the works of the enemy with his identity in the word.

Session 9: The Temptation
 
"The Temptation" We will look at the accounts that Jesus faced in the wilderness and his response and how practically he fought the works of the enemy. We will also look at the purpose of temptation from the perspective of the enemy and the purpose for it through the eyes of the Father.
 
 
 
Session 10: Let Go: When the box is no more

 
"Let Go: When the box is no more" We will discover what is holding you back from being the hands and feet of Jesus and holding you back from going and telling the good news. We will work through and discuss in a practical sense how to break down these boxes. In doing this we hope to inspire and provoke one another to be released from all those things that so easily entangle us.
 
 
Session 11: Missions: How beautiful are the feet that bring good news

 
"Missions: How beautiful are the feet that bring good news" is designed to bring understanding on how to communicate the Gospel in a relevant way to those that cross one’s path. Also, it’s designed help discover the truths of what God's mission is to redeem the earth and everything in it. Through a thorough discussion we will also look at some historical connotation the "Good News" holds in light of the Roman era and how we can translate that for our days.
 
       Isaiah 52:7  How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes    peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns."
 
        Romans 10:15  And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!"
 
 
Session 12: Kingdom View
 
 
" Kingdom View" will be an intro session to the "Kingdom of God" sessions. In the time allotted for this, we will cover the 7 elements of a world view and we will be briefly covering some of the more popular World Views that students deal with in everyday life such as: Evolution, Atheism, Humanism, Pantheism and New Age. This will equip the students to have a better understanding of the mainstream World views , so that in ministry they will be more effective. When Jesus would speak he spoke to every person in their understanding of the world. Paul did the same.
 
 
Session 13-14: The Kingdom of God Part 1-2
 
" The Kingdom of God Part 1 & 2" In this series we look at the frame work of the Kingdom according to Jesus. This study will consist of 10 fundamental questions that are answered by Jesus through various passages of Scripture. In studying these questions we hope to deepen the understanding of what the Kingdom of God really is and our role as Kingdom-focused people.

5.What is Church’s role in the Kingdom?

Session 15: Authority and Power: The Kingdom's Badge and The approval to use the Weapon
 
"Authority and Power: The Kingdom's Badge and the approval to use the Weapon" We will be discussing the Kingdom perspective when applying to Authority and Power. This session is designed to bring understanding for individuals and entire people groups of the order, functions, and overall effects that this view has on emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual aspects of everyday life.
 
Session 16: Ambassadors: Representing the Kingdom

"Ambassadors: Representing the Kingdom" is mainly focused on the mindset of those who are a part of the Kingdom of God in word, thought and deed. Through taking a fresh look at the frame work of the Kingdom, we will discover, based on the Bible, practical ways of being a representative of the Kingdom of God.
 
 

Session 17: "Evangelism that Works"

“Evangelism That Works!”  is the title of a best selling book by Pastor Phil Derstine who also will be teaching this subject.  It provides a seven step pattern for sharing Christ, naturally and effectively.  This pattern breaks the religious stereotypes and shows how to connect people to God the way that Jesus did.  Jesus never had an altar call, a show of hands, or a “sinners prayer.”  Yet, he delivered a message that drew all types of people to a forsake all and follow Christ.


Session 18: “The example of the King: Leadership Principles of Jesus”

Jesus was the greatest leader that ever lived, yet His greatness came from a humble leadership style.  These 10 Leadership Principles take a look at the life of Jesus and connect you to the source of His power.  These principles are the key to walking in the favor and authority of God.  And these principles must be taught by example and modeled by mature Christian leaders.  

 
 
Session 19: Teach ability

 
"Teachability" This topic is specifically geared toward a proactive approach to being ready for correction and absorption of wisdom. We will focus on not only practical application for being teachable but also to uncover the eternal value of this beautiful principle. In doing so we hope to bring a deeper understand of true humility, lowliness, and meekness.
 
 
Session 20: Armor bearer: The guarder of royalty


"Armor-bearer: The guarder of royalty" This addresses one of the most important concepts of effective leadership. We will be discussing the importance of supporting other people's visions and practical ways to lead from a non-positional way. We hope in this session to inspire the participants to zealously take ownership of their sphere of influence through supporting one another by guarding each other in word, thought, and deed…
 
 
Session 21: Submission: Open your mouth and eat
 
"Submission: Open your mouth and eat" We will examine the simple truths about submission to God which in turn will affect our submission to earthly authority in our lives. We will look at the eternal and the instant gratification and value of this conscious decision. In doing so we will understand why from the Israelites, to the Pharisees, to us the Gentiles cannot submit to God, why we don't submit to God, and the importance of submitting to earthly authority...
 
 
 
Session 22: Trust: choosing life when it hurts
 
"Trust: choosing life when it hurts" Webster's dictionary defines trust as "Confidence; a reliance or resting of the mind on the integrity, veracity, justice, friendship or other sound principle of another person." In this session we will look closely at the eternal value of trusting in God's ability to do what He set out to do through us. In regard to leadership we will discus the importance of trusting God in every situation regardless if we trust, respect or even honor authority in the natural, even when it hurts.
 
 
 
 
 
Session 23: Confrontation

"Confrontation" session is designed to give a clear method to address issues in the lives of people below, at the same level, and higher than you. We will go through a clear staging of confrontation and basic steps to seeing resolve in the individuals life. This is one Zach's favorite things to learn and to see in action, because when done with the right heart and with the right intention, it will produce a harvest of righteous living. This time is designed to give you very practical ways to effectively confront, to bring growth in somebody's life that you hold dear.

Session 24: Leading in silence (James 1:19-21)
 
"Leading in silence" is a session that was inspired by James 1:19 "…be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger..." We will pull apart these principles by bringing practical ways to fulfill what this is telling us. This is one of the most important roles a leader can play. This embraces the principle, "Seek to understand, then to be understood." We will also look at some of the fruit that is produced from understanding and applying this to your life.
 
 
Session 25: Actions speak louder than words (James 1:22-25)
 

 "Actions speak louder than words (James 1:22-25)" This session is designed to inspire the participant to take action and not just sit on mere words. This session is a continuation of the previous session "Leading in silence." This instead takes a proactive approach to letting the word form who you are and what you are to do with it. We will also bring another aspect of identity to the table and discuss how your identity shapes what you do with the Word.
 
 
 
Session 26: Gossip: the breading ground of wounds
 
"Gossip: the breading ground of wounds" is designed to uncover the heart issue behind gossip. We will show very clearly the instant and eternal effect it has on someone's image and outcome of their life. We also, look a the effects it has on the body of Christ. We will take a very practical approach to combating this dangerous weapon the enemies use against the people of God in the Church as a whole...
 
 
 
Session 27: Envy: The Enemy within

 
 "Envy: The Enemy within" Bases on the book by Bob Sorge, We will use the book to uncover the roots of envy and how it taking a hold of many people in the church today. We will also, bring to light the way Jesus overcame this beast by being crucified and how we are to follow in His bloody foot steps...

i.    At the heart of envy is the issue of love and the need to be rooted in Christ's love as the source of our personal identity.

 
Session 28: Brotherly love:  If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. (Galatians 5:25-26)

 
"Brotherly love:  If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. (Galatians 5:25-26)" is a session that is designed to enforce even further the fight against disunity in the Body. This will bring even more light to how we are to look, treat others in word, thought, and deed and how we stand together as one body serving one King that gave us life from the Spirit.
 

Session 29: Character Development
 
"Character Development" is a session that will focus on important character traits that an effective leader holds. Bringing the understand that these simply don't just happen but must be cultivated will inspire the participant to proactively seek out these character traits. Some of these traits that will be discussed are discipline, excellence, integrity, and vision. We look at these through the lens of the Bible and examine people that possess these traits to make a clear picture of  what they are and what they are not.

 

Session 30: Becoming A Student Of The Word (Session Synopsis being developed)

 

Session 31: Honor's Reward
 
"Honor's Reward " What is honor? Who should we honor? When should we demonstrate honor? What does God say about honor? The aim of this session is to answer these questions, explore the biblical principles of honor and learn how to apply them in your life. In doing so cultivate a life filled with respect and honor.
