Basic Structure of T2...

Team building Activities

Activities are designed to bring the leadership principles to life that they will be learning throughout the duration of the program. Through these activities the participants will have the opportunity to face opposition and receive on the spot redirecting and encouragement. These are intended to show in a practical and visual way the importance of working as a family or a body that represents the head well, namely Jesus. The inner character will be tried and tested beyond the limits that the individual have placed on themselves by focusing on the others that are on the field of play with them. This dynamic embraces one another's, weaknesses and strengths. Words are important, but life change happens on the battle field.

Sessions

Sessions are formatted to adhere to an interactive environment for learning. As the teachers instruct the participants there will be an ongoing opportunity for questions to be raised during the 30 minutes of content. To unpack further and to bring more understanding, the session block has a built-in 20 minutes of Q & A for further depth and redirecting. View synopses...

Team exercise

During a one-hour block every morning, we will gather together as a team and be physically trained. This dynamic of the program is key due to the demand of a leader to be disciplined physically.  Additionally, physical discipline is usually followed by spiritual discipline. Through cardiovascular work-outs we will work our way up to a point that will allow for the students to continue this habit of staying healthy with exercise. This time will include stretching, muscular development, and endurance running.

Journaling

This is designed to help bring closure to each day of training. This time will be used for the participant to really just download their thoughts, feelings, principles learned, even good and back experiences of the day. The intention of journaling is to give the participant something to bring home for future reference. Though at the time it may seem a bit impractical but it will insure that they will not forget what happened throughout the experience.

Local missions

This is an element of the program that is designed to give the participant a hands-on evangelism experience. Ebor City is one of our targets. In a well-supervised and clear leadership structure, we will go in this city to share the love of Christ through personal contact and face to face and relevant conversations. Through this we desire to see the Lord work through everyone that goes on this adventure. There will also be an opportunity to go to a local homeless shelter and serve any way we can through feeding people, giving out clothes, and building relationships with the people to share the love of Christ and to proclaim freedom through the Kingdom of God.

We are excited about the great teachings that have been planned.  Here is a sample of several Sessions

Intro to Transformed II

"Intro to Transformed II" session is intended for there to be a clear understanding of the purpose, introduction and what is expected of each individual throughout the duration of the program. We will specifically go through the guidelines and regulations, and field questions for further explanation as needed.  Also, the vision and purpose for the program as a whole will be given clearly. Our Vision is “To temper the ignited youth of this city, region, and state by equipping them to become leaders in their sphere of influence for the cause of Christ."

The Wilderness

"The Wilderness" is a session that will take an approach on the wilderness experience as a preparation for what God had for the one or ones going through the wilderness, namely Jesus and the Israelites. This will bring to light the foreshadowing of what Jesus was going to face in announcing the reestablishment of His kingdom in the hearts of man and to prep him for the adversity he would have to endure. Also, we will also discuss the importance of the wilderness in terms of the Israelites taking their promised land, which will relate in a current application of preparing before facing the giants of the students' "promised land.” This time will also be used to bring to light what they are going to encounter in their "wilderness" experience.

Fasting and Prayer : Part I Fasting

The "Fasting" session is designed to bring understanding of fasting within the context that Jesus gave to us in the gospels. One of the main focuses of this session is to change our minds from a simple fasting to a focus on the feast, that is the feast of God's Word and the fellowship in Jesus Christ, referred to as "breaking bread"(Acts 2:42, 46) during the fast.  We will dive into the motives and the drive behind Fasting and uncover truths about the much-needed picture for the everyday life of a believer.

Fasting and Prayer : Part II prayer

"5 Levels of prayer" approaches prayer in light of the attitude of the one praying. The attitude behind confession, adoration, thanksgiving, petition and intersession in regard to repentance, reverence, gratitude, seeking God's will in my life, seeking God's will in other's lives. We will go through these sessions and briefly cover each and discuss the Biblical foundation of each…

Sons and Daughters, who live by His Word

"Sons and Daughters, who live by His Word" In a very practical way we will uncover truths of not only doing what the word says, but being your true self according to the word. This session is designed to capture the hearts and refresh a love and desire for the satisfaction of the Word to the one partaking.  We will study about what happen to Jesus when he was tempted in the wilderness, and how he combated the works of the enemy with his identity in the word.
