Testimonies from YEX 2009 and Pursuit 2009 Minimize
God is Good! It's Adrian from LaBelle and we had an awesome Saturday and Sunday. Here's how it went:   Saturday On the way to LaBelle we stopped at a McDonalds and the Holy Spirit spoke to Eric my youth leader and told him that we must pray at our city gates. At the first gate Elisa had a vision of what I call a "Holy Ghost Fog". She saw a fog at the gate that ran across the highway.   On the way to the second gate, we turned on the radio and "God of This City" came on by Chris Tomlin. It was awesome to see that God was saying yes I am here in your city with you. So after the song finished, I looked out of the van and stared at the clouds. At first it was a blank stare but then I noticed a cloud that was formed like a horse with a rider on it. In the rider's right hand he had a sword. It was so cool! We stop at the second gate and begin to pray. Another youth, Joshua, had a vision of three demons and an angel fighting. The angel took down one demon and was engaged with the second demon. As those two were fighting, the "Violence" demon struck the angel down so we prayed and intercede for violence to stop in LaBelle. Then the Holy Spirit told me to draw a line across the street to represent a wall. We used a flag and Eric ran back and forth across the street and prayed that no evil spirits or witchcraft would be able to cross the line. Amen.   At the third gate we continued to pray for the city. Ethan also asked to pray for his grandfather and his salvation. While he prayed I was watching his feet for some reason and saw something really cool. As he rocked back and forth, I saw his feet make and impression in the grass. The impression was a heart. The heart was clear and really noticeable.   Personally, praying at these gates was physically draining but I don't know why. For me, it felt like I had just finished fighting two wars at each gate.   Sunday Sunday morning was fantastic. The youth took over the service again and all we had was praise and worship. We had many altar calls and at first I was bummed because I was in my "Cage" playing the drums. But then I realized that that was ridiculous and that I can do some major warfare with my what God gave me. So I did to the extreme. I remember telling some of the guys in the youth to pray for Frankie. Frankie had a cast because he broke his wrist, I think it was his right wrist. After they finished praying, Frankie told them there was no more pain at all. After praise and worship finished we shared some testimonies and while I was listening to all the girls I noticed a change in all of their voices. To me, their voices seemed to have more boldness and sounded more grown. I still don't know what that means though. The strangest thing to me was having a 2 hour praise and worship instead of the average 4 hours I was used to from camp.   P.S. Could you tell Roseanne that Ariel is really sorry for leaving without having a chance to say goodbye and Ariel wants to know if there is a way to get a hold of her. Oh and one more thing. I was extremely blessed with the praise and worship team, John and everyone who participated. So, I want to bless them back by spending the praise and worship we had the Sunday we got back. If you could somehow send me an address to send the music and testimonies over.     Thank you personally and on behalf of my youth group for all that went on at camp. Adrian Pena

Brandon, one of our youth, was in a wrestling accident this past February.  In the accident he destroyed his spleen, had a few cracked ribs, among other things.  Brandon is probably our most active youth.  He loves competition sports, and couldn't wait to be a part of the extreme games at camp.  Four days before camp, he had a doctors appointment.  We were all believing with him for good news & that he would be able to join all activities.  He came to visit me at the church office as soon as he left the doctor.  Unfortunately, the news wasn't good.  The doctors had spent so much time looking after his recovering spleen, they didn't see he also had a fractured spine, ruptured disc & some other back disease which explained why he still had so much pain.  He wasn't going to be able to get involved in the games.  He was also upset because starting the first week of August was basic training for NJROTC.  The doctors told him he would not be able to participate there, not even to march.  He was told that walking would be the extent of his physical fitness.  We prayed & left for camp EXPECTING a miracle.  Monday night, I layed my hands on his back, praying for his healing during worship.  As you all know, the service was about 5 hours & he stood for almost the entire time, which was a miracle since the pain usually made him go back & forth sitting & standing.  That night he was pain free & knew he was healed.  The next few days were hard to keep him down.  I just kept reminding him, I know you're healed, you know you're healed, BUT your mom signed release forms stating restrictions that we need to abide by.  Like that really worked.  Try telling a 14 year old, who was in pain, but isn't anymore to stay still.  The best I could do was keep him off the Gauntlet and the Slip&Slide.  We came home and that Monday he had a follow-up appointment with the doctor.  They did bone scans of his whole body & an MRI.  We got the results back last friday...NO FRACTURE, NO RUPTURED DISC, NO DISEASE!!!  (documented)  PRAISE GOD!!!  He was able to start basic traing this past Monday, he's sore, but would rather be sore from working out than have pain & sickness anyday!  Now we're just waiting for his other doctors reports on his spleen & his blood count (2X iron levels), EXPECTING the same results.

To all the YEX team,
Thank you so much! Our lives have truly been transformed because of your beautiful surrender to the Lord! I pray that our lives will continually be a reflection of who HE is as we saw in your whole ministry team. The work that you did was so appreciated by us. We can't wait until next year!
Thank you!

All of our kids were so touched at camp.  Even us as Pastors were renewed and determined to walk in a new level.  I had told God there that I would do whatever He asked - that I couldn't walk in fear anymore.  Sunday at church, when the music started I knew I was supposed to go up front and dance.  that's hard for me because of my self consciousness and rarely does anyone do that at our church.  So I went up front and it was wonderful.  After 2 songs, our worship Pastor stops and says she's going to do something she's never done before.  She has noticed people stepping into worship and then backing down when they get "a look."  She asks for everyone who will make a statement that they do not care what others think to come forward and worship in the front!!  A bunch of people came forward.  Our Pastor started laying hands on people and we were worshipping and there were people all over the floor.  God gave me a word for a couple in the church and the Pastor had me give it in front of everyone.  2 people came up to me and said they had been waiting for me to walk in my calling.  Jody & I were praying for people and worshipping and it was a GREAT service.  The Pastor didn't even get to preach!  The only down part - only 3 of our youth showed up.

Sunday night Jody didn't want to set up all the equipment for worship because we have to transport it, carry it, etc and his volunteers were both out.  Then the devil started telling him that he couldn't usher in the presence and lead the kids the way camp did and that he should just not even try.  So we loaded ALL the sound equipment in our little car and he set up by himself.  He started playing worship music and began to flow prophetically.  Someone came to the mic and started singing with him.  Half of our kids ended up on the floor before it was over.  We had planned on having a discussion instead of a message, but the Spirit took over and Jody preached with passion.  It was incredible.  Everyone kept saying "we brought it back with us."  They are thinking up fundraisers to raise the deposit money right away for next year.

I can't thank you enough for the opportunity for all of us to step in.  Our entire church has gone to a new level, thanks to God's goodness and your faithfulness.

Love, Terri

I know that you will probably not get this today since you are probably still cleaning up and probably really ehausted.  i just had to inform you on my experience at the young adult pursuit the last couple days.  Sunday night was great and I love RickPino and him leading worship was great and God definitly fell and I had a great time but it didn't last.  Monday i enjoyed all of the teachings and the worship but it was like no matter how much i pressed in and said God here I am it was like I had no sense of his presence and love.  It was like the same thing tuesday until tuesday night.  When I finally got a sense of of his presence and that he really loved me and that He wants so much more of me then what i was given him.  I had been living with one foot in the world and one in the Church but I realized that I could no longer live that way if I wanted to please God and live a life worthy of all the benefits he offered.  I realize taht He is real and that i was going to Hell otherwords. So i needed to repent turmn and allow HIM to work in me. Which I did.  Now I thought I had a relationship with GOd but i came to the realization through all the teachings and the worship times of just pressing in and not letting go til i saw his face that my life was just people pleasing and doing good deedd to the Lord.  I now know that I am saved that He loves me and knows whats best for me.  I am working on writting out a list of my confessions to others I have hurt, which involves the stealing of money ( Which is why i said i might owe jail time) i know I have to come clean and make the wrong things right so that I would live a life pleasing to the Lord.  Pray for me as this may be the ardest thing i have ever done because I know i need to get this out. THis morning it was weighing so heavy on my heart that i had to leave the room while you were crying out for florida abd go sit and cry. I know this is something that must be done and i know that God's mercy is new every morninng and that I will have to face the consequences for my actions and if that means a few days in jail then ok I will accept it since i knew it was wrong. THanks so much. also a big Kudos to everyone who was here I really saw Jesusin the young adults.  I mean while hanging out and eating lunch and so forth i never once heard negativity or gossip or such it was talk about the Lord and how things were going.  I will keep you updated.

Wes Martins blog:
The Front in Bradenton, FL
I had a quick ministry trip to speak at a young adult conference near Tampa over the last couple of days.  The host ministry was an independent young adult ministry called The Front in Bradenton, FL which is just outside of Tampa.  They have unity with some 42 different ministries in the Tampa area.  I soberly say that this was one of the most enjoyable trips that I have been on in the last several years as far as a ministry trip.  The saints were honorable, hungry, diligent and found in the place of fasting and prayer for some years now.  I was so encouraged.  The Lord met us and we had great times of teaching and impartation but what struck me most by the trip was the authenticity of the people involved with this ministry.  They are for real. They love Jesus well and serve people with excellence.  Before I left they gathered around me and I received some of the most refreshing prayer and prophetic ministry that I have received in a long time.  If you’re ever in the Tampa area stop in a check them out.
God bless The Front.  May they increase in wisdom and love for Jesus.
Amen.
Wes
